South Woodstock, Vermont
We strongly urge that ladies (and fancy gentlemen) do not wear high heels to any of the weekend events, and in particular Friday night. You will be walking over mossy rocks and through soft grass. A comfortable flat or sandal will be vastly preferable to a stiletto.
THE DAY BEFORE
FRIDAY
5:00pm – 11:00pm
A Welcome Party to kick off the weekend.
Come explore the inimitable grounds of Morgan Hill Farm, the groom’s family home. Join us for dinner and live music, dessert by the pond, and a celebratory bonfire (with s’mores, of course).

THE BIG DAY
SATURDAY
11:00am – 2:00pm
A pre-wedding Picnic Party at Glenmorgan House.
Show off your croquet skills, take a hike through the forest, and have a lazy lunch on the lawn— and be sure to bring a bathing suit if it’s warm enough to swim in the pond!
Getting to the Picnic at Glen Morgan:
Drive to the intersection of Morgan Hill Road and Route 106. There is parking available at the bottom of the hill. Shuttles will be provided up and down Morgan Hill Road for guests. No parking is available Glen Morgan.
Shuttles will be running in a loop!
5:00pm
Cocktail Hour in the apple orchard.
Enjoy craft cocktails and hors d’oeuvres amongst the apple trees at Morgan Hill Farm before you head up the hill for the ceremony.
6:30pm
Join us for our Twilight Ceremony at the birch grove.
To be immediately followed by dinner, dancing, and howling at the moon.
THE MORNING AFTER
SUNDAY
12:00pm - 2:00pm
Goodbye Brunch at the Kedron Valley Inn.
One last bite before you go! We think the rustic Neapolitan-style pizza at Kedron Valley Inn is the best cure for a too-much-dancing-and-champagne-induced headache. Come see for yourself and say goodbye to the bride and groom.
Visit our Accommodations and Travel page for additional information on transportation for each event.
LODGING
Labor Day weekend is an extremely busy time of year in Vermont, especially in Woodstock. For your convenience we have secured a number of lodging options close to town to ensure there was enough space for all of our guests.
To reserve your lodging arrangements, please contact our guest concierge with Storied Events as soon as possible by calling 1-802-332-5030 or emailing MaxineAndNoah@StoriedEvents.com.
TRANSPORTATION
We know most of our guests are not used to driving maze-like, mountainous dirt roads in total darkness, so we’ve arranged transportation to and from our wedding for out of town guests. We highly suggest renting your own vehicle so you can explore the surrounding area at your leisure.

THINGS TO DO
We’ve stolen one of your precious holiday weekends — the least we can do is make sure you have fun. Here are some nearby attractions we love to explore:
• Watch the master glass blowers work their magic at Simon Pearce
• Take a tour of Billings Farm and look a dairy cow in the eyes
• Sample the goods at local breweries like Long Trail or Harpoon
• Stroll around the impossibly beautiful town of Woodstock to shop for maple goods and flannels
• Commune with the rescued raptors at VINS Nature Center
If you find yourself in need of a little wedding-free R&R, we highly recommend to:
• Hit the spa at the Woodstock Inn
• Spend a few hours getting lost in the Marsh Billings-Rockefeller National Historical Park
• Hike to the top of Mt. Tom Take or other scenic trails around Woodstock, and take a few deep breaths of gratitude while marveling at the splendor of the universe – View map here
WEEKEND GARb
Late summer weather in Vermont is beautiful and completely unpredictable - you could be baking in the sun at 95° or avoiding a torrential downpour at 50°. We suggest you pack a little bit for both scenarios and include options that allow for layers. At each event we’ll be romping around in fields and over hills, so make sure to bring forgiving footwear.
ABOUT US
Noah and Maxine met at Sarah Lawrence College during a very loud house party. They bonded over a shared hatred of scallops and their mutual dissatisfaction at the government’s continuous underfunding of the space program.
After nine years and a lifetime’s worth of weird adventures together, they became engaged in late June of 2017. Everyone was happy— except for their dogs, who barked through the entire proposal.
They currently live and work together in Key West, Florida, alongside their two poorly behaved canine roommates, Bilko and Matilda.
They are really excited to see you at their wedding.
